I am Alan Rickett, now retired professional photographer specialising in transport photography, mainly road transport.
I was the "official" photographer for ERF trucks at Sandbach for many years and also photographed for many other well known (and some less well known) names in the truck industry
I have set up this website to display and offer for sale the large number of spare truck photos I have. Prints have been piling up for many years and I have at last got the time to sort through them and offer some to a wider audience.
When we ordered prints in bulk from the processing labs, or when I printed them myself there were often a few extras, good quality prints which have accumulated into an archive of truck photos dating from the early 80's - a golden age for British transport - to the present.
Bus and Coach photos and Memorabilia
Photos recently added to the site have a double letter on their reference number eg. - AA, BB etc - Bus and Coach photos have BS reference numbers

New Prints
All my photos are now available as any standard size prints, these are new prints produced by a quality professional lab, this usually takes 3 to 4 days, as these are printed to order there is a minimum order of 4 prints.
Quality All the pictures for sale (except the Vintage, and some of the export photos) have been photographed by me using the best quality equipment and materials available at the time. All original prints have been professionally printed either by a professional lab or in my own darkroom and are original prints, printed at the time (or soon after) the shots were taken (not new reprints), New prints will be printed to order by a professional photographers photo lab. I will only offer for sale, prints that I think are a good quality and have stood the test of time
Watermarks The watermark on the photos on this site are for copy protection purposes only and do not appear on the actual prints.
Copyright
Although I am selling original prints, I am NOT selling the copyright. Copyright remains with me.
I will waive any copyright restrictions for amateur use, ie hobby, personal collections, club use etc. and you are free to sell, swap or barter these prints.
If you wish to use in a professional manner or publish any of my Images, please contact me to discuss your requirements
This site is at present very basic, I don't have any facility for web based payments so there are no shopping cart or credit card facilities.

There is a standard postage charge for prints of £2.00 per order, which covers tracked postage in the uk
